Description
Ask any question BEFORE BUYING.a 1st pressing of this classic Bill Evans album "Waltz for Debbie" IN MONO. The jacket back has RLP 399 upper left corner, the disc has RM 399 (Riverside MONO) which were also reissued in stereo RS 9339. This has the large 100 mm blue-silver label, with correct address at bottom of jacket with "Inc."I listened to this disc last year for audio grading and at that time I believed it was a VG+, it is a live recording so there is some "background clinking of glasses, etc. My grading is based on my ears (75 years old which have had lots of use, )and my equipment which will be different from YOUR equipment and ears. I have never overplayed my records, I have lots of BE discs and now lots of Cds. The disc is clean, shiny, the cover has some edge wear (see photos). This is sold AS IS and NO RETURNS as is my regular policy with anything I sell because I don't misrepresent what I sell.NB===="Note that in the course of the 12-200 series, somewhere around RLP 440 (in 1963) the “RLP” catalogue naming convention adapts to the presence of both mono and stereo editions , with new titles issued as either RM XXX (Riverside Mono) or RS 9XXX (Riverside Stereo). RM however appears on a few earlier titles, the RLP designation remains persistent and in use for reissues, and even appears on the early stereo editions. There is probably an explanation, though I am not sure signifies anything of importance." To find out more about Riverside numbering and labels I recommend this websitehttps://londonjazzcollector.wordpress.com/record-labels-guide/6-riverside/riverside-labels-us/shipping weight is 15 ounces media mail, any international costs are additional as are customs costs etc and are the buyers responsibility.
