DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a brilliant example of a hard to find original 1955 UK release by BILL HALEY & HIS COMETS on the London label with silver print (45-HL 8142) "GREEN TREE BOOGIE" b/w "SUNDOWN BOOGIE" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 3-prong triangular-centre.In period-correct repro London company sleeve.
This terrific single is in stunning mint minus (M-) condition, clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen and without any noticeable surface marks. The labels are nice and clean. There is no writing, stickers or tears..The 3-prong triangular-centre is fully intact and has no damage. No spindle marks.
Both sides have been played through without any worrying problems and no obtrusive pop, crackle or clicks, only very light run-in-groove surface presence. Definitely no skips or jumps. The record tests beautifully without any problematic loss in sound quality or aural performance and can be enjoyed without any disturbance. If any, all faults are minor, acceptable and nothing to worry about.
GREAT SINGLE
SUPERB EXAMPLE, VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION
