Description

BILL HALEY ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK EXC FIRST PRESS RARE 45rpm 1954. The first pressing of this classic early rock ‘n’ roll record. Extremely difficult to find a first press in this condition. First released in May, 1954 (this record pressing), this may be the first rock ‘n’ roll record. While there are many opinions on the subject, several other slightly earlier records that people will say are the first are actually R&B or “jump blues.” Whatever your opinion is on the subject, there is no doubt that the recording of this song was a pivotal moment in rock ‘n’ roll history. Play tested sounds great. An investment in music history! Shipped USPS first class mail. Please email me any questions before buying and I will answer promptly. Free shipping.
