BILL HALEY Shake Rattle & Roll  orig 1955 10" LP DL 5560
Dead Wax side 1:  MG4017T3 Dead Wax side 2:  MG4018T4 VINYL: looks G+/ VG- plays borderline VG Lots of surface hairlines & some light scratches  I play graded this on 2 different players. On the 1st player with a relatively new but cheap stylus it played a borderline VG/VG- w/ no skips. On the player with the  better (still low end audio-tectnica $35) stylus it repeated on the last cut. I managed to fix the defect & triple checked that it's gone. BUT what I mean to state is that, particularly on deep groove records below VG+, different players/stylus's will play differently.
SLEEVE: a strong VG Light coffee stain on back top left & some edge & tip wear. 1/2" split at the top edge of the spine  pin holes at the top of the spine.

GRADING

NM..  Should sound new with no or virtually no defects. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked.

Might be 1 or 2 almost unnoticeable marks. Cover in shrink

EX  Will sound Just a little under near mint. 

VG+   Used but not abused. Will have some audible imperfections.

VG  Still enjoyable but there will be quite obvious visual & audible imperfections.

In this condition cover flaws will be noted or pictured.

VG- Same as VG but defects are more pronounced. Still enjoyable if you can overlook the numerous background sounds.

Sometimes I pretend I'm listening by the crackling of a dying fire . 

G+ Is often used instead of VG- but in my ratings I have it just below VG-

G Is just barely playable with too many defects to really enjoy.v I keep rare Lps in G to say I have it, not to play it.
