Lo and Behold LP
This is a 1969 Martin Recordings PRIVATE PRESS LP titled 'Lo And Behold' from Kentucky folk-rock brothers Bill and Ron Moore. It is Martin Recordings catalog number S9-279. Personnel are: Bill Moore-guitar & vocals / Ron Moore-bass & vocals / Jimmy Boyle-organ / Roger Hughes-drums & tambourine / Alan Moore-bass, guitar, tambourine. Album was recorded at Arthur Smith Recording Studios in Charlotte NC. Some of the tracks on this LP are performed by Bill and Ron Moore unaccompanied, others have a full folk-rock band sound. The tracks Buffalo, Think Of You, I'm Nothing I'm Nobody, and Simple are original compositions penned by either Bill or Ron Moore, the others are covers of then-current popular folk/rock tunes: Gentle On My Mind, Scarborough Fair / Canticle, Early Morning Rain, Punky's Dilemma, The Boxer, Get Together, Look To Your Soul, Hymn.
