You should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

STILL BILL - "Bill Withers came into his own on his third album, Still Bill. Released in 1972, the record is a remarkable summation of a number of contemporary styles: the smooth soul coming out of Philly, smoky, late-night funk via Bobby Womack, bluesy Southern soul, and '70s singer/songwriterism. It's rich, subtly layered music, but its best attribute is that it comes on easy, never sounding labored or overworked."

GREATEST HITS

Bill Withers has written two bonafide classics - Ain’t No Sunshine and Lean On Me, as well as recording a slew of memorable hits and songs covered by everyone from Joe Cocker, Isaac Hayes to Kiss. Still he is under-appreciated. His voice is smooth, his singing is subtle and his songs move along over sensuous, sexy grooves. It’s all so effortless that it is easy to overlook how substantial Withers work really is -- never flashy, his best song - Burn - with a heat that lingers long after the last note has been played. This slender 10 track collection brings together a few songs from his remarkable early seventies Sussex Album including such hits and near hits as - Grandma’s Hands - Who Is He? and the seriously funky - Use Me, as well as some gems from the later seventies including - Lovely Day.
