Description
Fully play-tested: The vinyl has a number of light surface scratches which results in light surface noise/crackles during many moments. It has some VG+ moments (such as Railroad Man), but the vinyl grades as VG- or G+ due to these visible marks. Side A is strongest (solid VG) with no skips. However, there are a few small skips on Side B near the beginning of Can We Pretend. The most noticeable crackles are during Stories and Liza. There is no groove wear (i.e. distortion). Not a near mint listening experience, but a satisfying vintage vinyl listening experience with a rare, special record.
The album jacket is in strong VG condition with some light ring-wear and edgewear.
The color inner sleeve is in strong VG++ condition.
The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned, handled with audiophile gloves (not hands), and stored and ships in an audiophile-quality anti-static inner sleeve. I also always store and ship albums in a protective 3 mil. plastic sleeve to keep these precious albums in excellent condition. This costs me a bit more, but it's worth it to ensure a high-quality record stays in the best condition as possible.
