Recorded in Los Angeles in May of 1952, this Clef session features Billie Holiday, accompanied by Charlie Shavers on trumpet, Flip Phillips on tenor, Oscar Peterson on piano, Barney Kessel on guitar, Ray Brown on bass Alvin Stoller or J.C. Heard on drums. SIDE A: IF THE MOON TURNS GREEN; REMEMBER; AUTUMN IN NEW YORK; MY MAN; LOVER COME BACK TO ME and STORMY WEATHER. SIDE B: YESTERDAYS; HE’S FUNNY THAT WAY; I CAN’T FACE THE MUSIC; HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN; WHAT A LITTLE MOONLIGHT CAN DO and I CRIED FOR YOU. There is a name sticker in the label on SIDE A. The cover is by David Stone Martin. This is the first issue of this material on a 12 inch LP, as it includes the material on the 10 inch LPs, Clef 144 and 161. This is a MONO recording.

I have graded both the vinyl as M- and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean on both sides of any marks or blemishes. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. As mentioned above, there is a name sticker on Side A. The vinyl retains its original luster. The record jacket has one small taped seam on the top right of the jacket. Other than a little discoloration on the liner notes, the record jacket is in excellent condition.
