Description
A NICE example of the much rarer unboxed stereo version of this record on Decca from 1963 - We Want Billy! by Billy Fury and the Tornados. The front-laminated single flipback stereo sleeve is strong and presentable - a comfortable VG with just a little creasing, some laminate lift and a small stain within the text on the unlaminated rear panel. Both first press grooved labels are undamaged with just a few spindle marks, denoting little play over the years. This record looks well cared for, with very few marks, and certainly no feelable scratches - a comfortable EX. There is a slight dish effect to the vinyl which does not affect play. This disc bears 1/1 matrices and 1 - B mother stampers, showing it came from the very first batch of 300 to leave the factory! Good luck if you are bidding.
