Recorded on July 21-22, 1975 at BARCLAY STUDIOS, PARIS.

The original, very first edition of the very first Black Saint LP ever released, manufactured by Black Saint and distributed by Harmony S.r.l.

 Same catalog number as the later edition. 

Full title on labels and cover rear: Billy Harper Quintet: Black Saint - On Tour In Europe 1975 

The label's logo was different than the one widely known (with the drawing of a saxophone player), the address in the back was also different, and the cardboard jacket sturdier and shinier than the second edition.

Flawless spindle holes 

There's only a slight linear sign absolutely not audible and not due to use, barely noticeable under a strong bulb lamp at the end of the 2nd track of side 1.   

The remaining part of this thick, shiny record retains its perfect original shape and is absolutely free of any signs of wear or handling as scuffs, marks, scratches, groove wear. 

Plays as new with superb sound !

Original 1st thick, glossy jacket in nearly perfect condition

There is only a very slight hints of circular trace, due to a removed sticker, near the top left corner, barely noticeable and that do not affect the beauty and the integrity of the artwork whatsoever (M-)!

The remaining is pristine and looks as going out just now from the factory (M)!
