If you’re a rock fan that listens to vinyl, you’ve no doubt heard about the ‘Double RL’ pressing of Led Zeppelin II. Well, it turns out the intrepid Robert Ludwig also applied his lacquer cutting talents to Billy Joel’s seminal album, ‘The Stranger’ (usually found cut by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound).  Here’s your chance to own one of these fantastic pressings!

Condition (by ‘Goldmine’ standards): LP = VG+/EX. Paper scuffs from the original inner sleeve. Minimal background noise, most noticeable between tracks.   No warps (flat as a pancake), pops, skips or jumps. The most obvious mark is on the lead in to side two (see photo 10). It DOES NOT affect playback! Jacket = VG+. No stickers, no writing, no seam splits, legible spine, minimal ring wear.  However, some moron decided to put a pin through it at one time.  No worries, as it was well away from the LP (see photo 7). Inner sleeve = G+. No tears, no writing, but the right side (right of Billy's photo) is split save for the last 1.5” towards the bottom.
This LP has been…. -Play tested on a Clearaudio Performance SE, with Ortofon 2M Black cartridge. -Cleaned, before and after play testing, on a VPI 16.5 vacuum machine using 'Disc Doctor Miracle Record Cleaner', followed with a distilled water rinse. -Placed in a 5 mil poly outer sleeve, with the record in a non-scratch/anti-static/archival inner sleeve (see photo 1).
