Description
- Billy Joel released his eighth studio album "The Nylon Curtain" in 1982 on Columbia Records. "Pressure" and "Allentown" were among the tracks that propelled the album to Platinum status. Saying goodbye to the analog era, it's also notable for being among the first records to be digitally recorded, mixed, and mastered.
- This copy (QC 3820) is from the first pressing in 1982 and is in Mint condition. It is unopened and still sealed in its original factory shrink wrap. Please note that the photos of the inner sleeve and disc labels are from another copy. The one you receive will be unopened. It was mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in NYC and was pressed by Columbia Records in either Terra Haute, Indiana or Pitman, NJ.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 38 years. Because it is still sealed, it has not been test played. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but older record and it might have some minor imperfections.
