BILLY JOEL ~ THE STRANGER ~ Original 1977 white label promo US pressing released on Columbia label, catalog # JC 34987. Includes DJ promo timing strip on cover jacket back, and original photo inner sleeve w/lyrics on back. 12-inch stereo LP vinyl record is visually overall NM- (side 2 is near mint; side 1 is 'near mint minus' with minor surface scuff or light scratch mark that should NOT affect play or sound quality - fingernail does NOT 'catch' - see thorough, complete condition descrip below. Any flaws in the vinyl, cover or labels will be noted below). PLEASE ZOOM IN & CLOSELY EXAMINE ALL PHOTOS FOR BETTER VISUAL DESCRIPTION ... see close-up pics for song track listings.

Vinyl record is CLEAN and has glossy shine on both sides and VISUALLY appears to be in overall "near mint minus" USED / PLAYED condition (side 2 is near mint; side 1 is 'near mint minus' with minor surface scuff or light scratch mark that should NOT affect play or sound quality ... fingernail does NOT 'catch'), and any visual surface scratches, scuff marks, dust or fingerprints should NOT affect sound quality (we're always overcritical with visual descriptions) ... we don't have record player to "test", but WE WILL GUARANTEE IT! 

Cover jacket is overall excellent (NO SEAM SPLITS), with DJ promo timing strip on back, some 'light general wear' scrapes, scuffs, minor corner edge wear creasing and slight ring wear, and embossed in gold lettering on back "For Promotion Only...", all as pictured. Record comes in original photo inner sleeve with lyrics on back (very slight split in center of lower inner sleeve seam), and also has clear poly LP outer sleeve for extra protection. Record has been carefully stored and will be sent in same great shape, thoroughly padded and protected. Again, PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR BEST VISUAL DESCRIPTION.
