ARTIST/ TITLE/ RELEASE NUMBER: BILLY MARTIN & THE SOUL JETS "I Turn You On"/ ONION Record (L.P. W.S. 1225)
SLEEVE'S CONDITION: VG (light grease marks on back cover/ open 1/3 on top right edge/ shelf wears/ see scan!)
RECORD'S CONDITION: VG to VG+ (paper scuffs/ very light hairlines here and there, nothing deep!)
COMMENTS: CANADIAN HOLY GRAIL! Rare and heavy raw funk/break lp!!! Might be Billy Martin's hardest album to track down (Monster cover of Isley Brothers "I TURN YOU ON" with huge crackling drum breaks/ heavy bass and, fucking ridiculous mid tempo disco funk cut "IT'S YOUR LIFE".. but every tracks are winners!) Seldom seen master piece, and a must have for any serious collectors! Recorded and released in Canada but strangely issued in Miami FL.! Definitely original US pressing only (not the late reissue)! very nice copy! No reserve!
My conservative visual grading scale: M- / NM / EXC / VG+ / VG / VG- / G+ / G / G-
All records are original pressings, I do not sell reissues unless specified.
Be sure to check my other auctions for more rare lp's/ 12's/ 45's records.
