Description
BILLY NICHOLS - "WOULD YOU BELIEVE" LP, on the Immediate label, IMCP 009, from 1968. This is a ORIGINAL UK PRESSING, of a ultra rare UK psych pop album. This was supposed to be UK answer to the Beach Boys, "Pet Sounds" LP. This album was immediately withdrawn before it hit the streets, due to financial problems with the label. Making this album one of the rarest and most sought after LPs of the 60's British music scene. Rumoured only 100 promotional copies were pressed, and here is one of them. This album features a host of star names, from the Small Faces, Steve Marriot, Jerry Shirley (Humble Pie drummer), Nicky Hopkins, John Paul Jones and Big Jim Sullivan. The cover is in EX++ condition, with couple tiny pen marks on back cover. Labels are clean, with visible sign of wear on spindle hole. The matrix numbers are machine stamped in dead wax. The record looks in near mint condition, with a couple very faint sleeve marks, which are hardly visible. TOP COPY!! GUARANTEE ORIGINAL!! JUST ASK WALTER G., FROM MANY MANY YEARS AGO. NO RESERVE.
