This original 10" Mercury label LP was recorded as in years 1949-1950 and released in 1952. It is in good condition. There are a some scratches on the record but it is still very listenable. The David Stone Martin jacket is in fair condition with some discoloration and most of the sides split. These sessions have been re-released many times as a 12" LP and on CDs. Aside from Bird and Diz, the sidemen are Thelonius Monk on piano, Curly Russell on bass and Buddy Rich on drums. Of interest is the fact that on the numbers "Passport" and "Visa", the trumpeter is Kenny Dorham and the drummer is Max Roach. I offer free shipping via Media Mail in the continental USA.
