Description
BIRDS … “No Good Without You Baby / How Can It Be” (DECCA F 12257) Released UK 1965. By reputation, they were considered on of the top RB based outfits in England during the mid sixties. Their loud crunchy brand of British rhythm and blues based rock was akin to the Who, Yardbirds and Kinks. Events at that time seem to conspire against them from obtaining the success they deserved, perhaps they might have fared better if they hadn’t been signed to a label that already had the Small Faces and Rolling Stones under contract. At least Ron Wood who got his start in the band went on to bigger things. These two terrific tracks demonstrate why this band’s very few recordings are still much sought after, by serious fans of the genre. CONDITION: Although showing some signs of being played, the vinyl is a shiny EX. A nice copy to own. Bid with confidence.
