Description
OXFAM MUSIC CLASSICAL AUCTIONS
Decca recording from 1959, in excellent overall condition. Conducted by Hans Knappertsbusch with the Vienna Philharmonic, features Birgit Nilsson (Isolde) and Grace Hoffman (Brangäne). Excerpts: Act I: Prelude & Scene 3, Act III: Liebestod.
SLEEVE - VG - Decca Triangle Logo sleeve in very good overall condition - clean front with some light folding, small tape discolouration and general discolouration of laminate on rear sleeve (otherwise very clean).
VINYL - EX+ - No visible surface marks.
INNER SLEEVE - EX - Standard Decca ffss sleeve.
LABEL - NM - Decca Wide Band Grooved, 'Original Recording By' label. Some spindle marks on side 2.
MATRIX - Side 1: ZAL-4651-1E. Side 2: ZAL-4652-1E.
AUDIO NOTES - Sampled on both sides. Superb, clean sound quality, no audible surface noise in quieter passages.

All items will be securely dispatched in a new hard 12" mailer with stiffener, with inner and outer sleeves separated, and will include a 12" polythene record sleeve. All items are handled with the greatest of care prior to dispatch.
