Description
BLACK ART> "NOT SUSAN CARDIGAN"
LEE PERRY CUTS "BREAKFAST IN BED" again,
this time with CANDY McKENZIE. And Also, "DISCO FITS".
Ms. McKENZIE has worked backing song with Scratch, and done an
evening or two at Ronnie Scott.
THIS WAS "MADE IN JA" matrix, LP2200 pk 1976.
SHE DELIVERS THE GROWN UP VERSION OF B in B fetchingly,
Scratch delivers it into cowbell and horn version, echoes Ms.M in and out,
then falls into gtr. n bass miasma.
THAT was the STARTER. Now we get to the real purpose...."DISCO FITS".........
"If you dont play me a disco mix, I gonna have me a disco fit" cowbwell, chorus, yelps: and Ms. M's magnificent voice, well flung about in the mix. Horns drone about.
"Play me sum Irie music, Play me some RootsRockmusic/Dont stop/Dont stop/".
Yes indeed.
Kindly sold to us by the mythical Ray of Maroons Toons, from his foldaway record
boothe in the lobby of his Apt, London.'77. took a lot of chat, as I remember.
Bless him, and all his works.
PAYPAL PLEASE.
HOW DID WE FORGET....................................................................................
