Description
This LP is a great prog psych album.
It's entitled 'Barbed Wire Sandwich' by Black Cat Bones. It is on the UK Decca Nova label and was released in 1970. The catalogue number is SDN 15. It is becoming very rare now. It's the band's first and only LP and is a stereo recording.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is laminated on the front and is generally in fine condition. There is some definite wear and disclouration with some creasing on the front, rear, edges and spine. The wording along the spine is 95% readable. I've graded the sleeve as VG.
INNER BAG - This is a Decca blue and white diecut company paper type with clear polythene inner bag I've graded the inner sleeve as Ex-.
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It looks quite clean and appears to have been played a few times. There are some superficial marks on either side which show themselves as definite surface noise. It plays very well on both sides with some surface noise and some occasional pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side. I've graded the record as VG.
LABELS - The labels are the blue UK Decca Nova type with silver wording. There are minimal spindle marks on either label. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - ZAL-9431.P-2W - side two - ZAL-9432.P-1W.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell.
