Description

Here we have one of the rarest singles to be released on the Apple label from 1968 by the Black Dyke Mills Band called Thingumybob b/w Yellow Submarine.I dont normally list records that are below EX condition,but this one is quite rare,and is in the Collectors Guide at £50 in mint condition,and I thought an Apple label collector might like to have it to fill the gap until they can find a better one.The condition of this one is VG,although,curiously,the `A` side plays better,than the `B` even though it has more surface marks! There is some background noise on both sides of the disc in places,mostly noticeable in the quiet passages of course,but generally the record plays quite well.The single was originally recorded for the Yellow Submarine soundtrack of course,and was produced by Paul McCartney himself.
