Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

ULTRA RARE Los Angeles pressing from 196?/197? on Apple with NO black star on the Yellow Submarine label, writing credit under Thingumybob listed as McCartney-Lennon, Apple credit in the lower label rim text on Yellow Submarine and original US Apple sleeve!!!  Release year is unclear as there is not a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever.  I have been collecting for 40+ years and I have never seen this variant before.  Vinyl is VG+ with no scratches or scuffs and some surface clouding on Yellow Submarine.  Supremely rare so don't sleep Beatles collectors.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
