RARE BLACK ECHOES FROM SEPTEMBER 22ND 1979 - WIGAN CASINO SPECIAL.
This issue is a great nostalgic read.
Echoes was always the choice for the Soul Boys over London-centric B&S as it was a bit more street and a little quicker on the uptake of shifts in the scene.
The Wigan Casino pullout section is a real treat, filled with info and playlists etc (see pics) but prized mainly for the number of pages that are suitable for framing.
Rare these days as Echoes issues were generally read and discarded, left on the train etc.
There is some yellowing to the very edges of the pages, which could be trimmed, it is after nearly forty years old.
A great gift.
