Description
This is the ultra-rare FIRST PRESSING on SST / UNICORN RECORDS (only 25 000 pressed on Unicorn and only a few thousands had the sticker) of the classic "Damaged" LP by the legendary Black Flag. This one features the even more rare "As a parent..., I found it an anti-parent record..." sticker that Black Flag affixed over the MCA Records logo on the back cover of some copies (SEE PICTURE) after MCA Records (with which Unicorn Records had a distribution deal) distribution chief Al Bergamo announced that the company would not distribute it, deeming that "It just didn't seem to have any redeeming social value" and because, as a parent with two children, he found it an anti-parent record. "Damaged" was eventually released by Unicorn through an independent distributor. Later, after Unicorn's bankruptcy and almost two years of litigation during which Black Flag were forbid to release any record, they re-released and distributed it through Greg Ginn's own SST Records. This record cost Black Flag only 8 000 $ to produce and is a TRUE CLASSIC and even made the Rolling Stone TOP 500 BEST RECORDS OF ALL TIME LIST.

Our own record grading system (please read very carefully):
Unless otherwise noted, our grades are based on our best visual inspection. We are not professional record inspectors. Below is our own grading system. If we describe an item as NM, below is an explanation of what we mean, and so on. It is our own best attempt at visually grading vinyl. However, if you want us to listen to a record we are selling, please ask us! We simply don't have time to listen to everything before we post it, but we will always be happy to do it before you buy it. And if you want to see more pictures of an item - ask us! We like our customers to feel great about what they are purchasing from us.
(M): VINYL: It has never been played or touched, it is assumed. COVER: Looks as good as a record can reasonably look.
(NM) : VINYL: This record appears virtually flawless. Very minor scuffs can appear. COVER: Looks almost perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.
(VG++): VINYL: Minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs or mild surface marks. COVER: Artwork is close to perfect. Minor outer ring wear. Some slight creases on the corners.
(VG+): VINYL: Record shows wear, surface scuffs. Flaws (possibly including minor warp-age) will be noticeable to the naked eye. COVER: A virtually clean cover, but shows some various wear and aging; may even have small writing on it.
(VG): VINYL: They are not really going to look very good. COVER: Will look worn, used. Seam splitting, some ring wear, ink might be wearing off.
(G): It all looks pretty lousy, but you want it anyway.

We have to list a return policy now and the options are just yes or no which is very vague, but generally we do not accept returns. This is negotiable if there is a good reason, for instance if an item is seriously different than how we described it, but not for reasons like if you buy an item and later decide you don't want it.
To protect ourselves from things being returned for every reason we officially do not accept returns, but are willing to discuss any problem items.
