Description
Rare private 45 rpm power-pop single: THE BLACK KNIGHT - Another Night with the Boys / Wrong Love - Knight Records, KR-1; both tracks are credited to "Steve Mata"; released in 1980. I can't find any other copies of this one online; it may be related to the private power-pop releases of Steven Knight and the Squires, who released a couple of singles on Knight Records in 1982; this may be the first incarnation of that label and/or band (pretty sure they're related for sure). Those singles are pretty rare (I have one listed this week as well), but this one seems to be even harder to find. I'll try to get a video/sound clip up on my fb page soon. VIDEO NOW POSTED - both tracks - on fb page "Hamspapershack".
Condition: VG+/VG (A-side has some minor scuffing and plays VG+ with a few soft ticks, B-side has heavier scuffs and surface marks, still plays VG or VG+ with some soft background; clean labels).
