Description

This is an original pressing on Tower Records, Cat# ST-5129 (Stereo) The condition of bothe the cover and the disc is (Near Mint) all the seams are 'tight and clean' and all the corners are still 'square' there is just a 'touch' of very light 'ringwear' on the front cover (see pix) The disc has nice shiny wax that is very clean except for a few very light 'hairline or paper' type 'surface only' marks that DO NOT affect the play or fidelity which is excellent. The 'Shades' were a 5 man group that could or should be considered 'blue eyed soul' Great vocals with some horn backing, heavy bass lines and some 'kickin' drums. Released circa' 1968-'69 the Lp contains the following tracks; (A) Got Myself Together/ Yesterdays Dreams/ Mama Jo's Place/ Baby Doll/ Any Old Way (B) Soul Love-In/ Gonna Win You Over/ Who Do You Think I Am/ I Need You and Searchin.
