Description
This is the original UK LP by BLACK SABBATH, BLACK SABBATH Vol.4, 25th September 1972, 1st Press on the VERTIGO SWIRL label 6360 071, with the matt finished gatefold cover with the booklet and the Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve.
Matrix numbers are, Side A:- 6360071 1Y#1, Side B:- 6360071 2Y#1
Stamper codes are, Side A:- 1 21 8, Side B:- 1 1 2
Additionally on Side 1 is hand etched 'PORKY' and Side 2 is hand etched 'PECKO'

The original 1972 UK Very 1st issue Howard Printers, matt finished gatefold cover, with the booklet inside is in a EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and fresh, maintaining all its original rich bright vibrant colour. The cover has only minimal wear to the corners. The broad spine is lovely and clean, no damage, still broad, (not squashed as, as most are), the spine is perfectly readable. Inside the glued in booklet is in a STUNNING MINT- condition, FACTORY FRESH, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colours, super crisp and fresh!, no rips, no splits, no scuffs, the booklet is stuck firmly in place. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits. A SUPERB COVER!!
The vinyl is in a STUNNING MINT-. The vinyl maintains all it's original gleaming 'Just Presssed' shine and lustre. I have played both sides, (very carefully), and im delighted to say that from start to finish the vinyl plays MINT-!, playing with super crisp clear clarity!. The lovely Vertigo Swirl label's are in a MINT- condition, lovely and clean and factory fresh, both label's have no unwanted writing, the centre spindle hole shows little, no wear, lovely label's!
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1972 UK 1st issue VERTIGO Swirl polythene lined inner sleeve, and in EX+++ condition, the inner sleeve is nice and clean, maintaining all it's original colour, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, a SUPERB original 1st issue inner sleeve.
