HERE WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT UK VIRTIGO (VO 6) FIRST PRESSING (February 1970) OF BLACK SABBATH'S CLASSIC SELF TITLED DEBUT LP
THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE VERTIGO SWIRL LABELS WITH VO 6 1Y*1 / VO 6 2Y*1 MATRIX NUMBERS AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATTE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH BLACK INNER SURFACES AND INVERTED CROSS (see pics for all relevant info i.e. incorrect Ossie spelling etc)
COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL COMPANY INNER SLEEVE
ALL IN ALL AN EXCELLENT COPY WHICH PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT!!!

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO marks, NO unwanted writing and spindle traces only really evident when angled under a bright light
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. The surfaces have some general hairline marks NONE of which are of any major audio consequence
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING!! - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY STRONG, RICH and HEAVY!! There are NO scratches, NO sticks/jumps, NO clicks/pops and just the (very) occasional touch of surface noise between some (but not all) of the tracks and on the run-ins but NOTHING I found AT ALL intrusive on play-grading this classic!!!! (being very critical here) There is NO discernible groove-wear and NO distortion on the LP!!!! PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT!!! Overall, a really TREMENDOUS playing copy of this much sought after original 1970 first pressing!!! Must be graded EXCELLENT to (+) for audio!!! NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards!!! (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The original MATTE cover is in GREAT condition!! CLEAN and UNMARKED with a nice thick spine with all text SHARP and CLEAR!! EXCELLENT example of this easily worn sleeve!! (see pics)
