1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
This is the earliest possible release of Black Sabbath's very first album. The labels and cover are the earliest possible and are highly sought after by Black Sabbath collectors. This version sold only a handful of copies before the labels and cover were changed.
Cover: This is the 1st pressing gatefold unlaminated cover. In excellent condition for its age. No writings/doodles or seam splits. Some lightish wear to corners/edges/spine
Inner sleeve: Comes with a 1970 Swirl inner sleeve. No seam splits. Excellent condition.
Labels: Excellent.
Vinyl: Looks Very Good. Would benefit from a clean as it has not been played for many years.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
