VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1ST UK PRESS - 'REVERSED/NEGATIVE' BLACK VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL B SIDE (THE ONLY EVER VERTIGO SWIRL TO BE PRINTED THIS WAY!)

ORIGINAL BOX LAMINATED SLEEVE, PRINTED AND MADE BY HOWARDS PRINTERS (SLOUGH) LTD

PLAYGRADED: not simply glanced at with a superficial visual grading, fully played and graded throughout (listened to on headphones - the most revealing playgrade method, with no exterior audio distractions)

OUTER BOX SLEEVE:

Original 1st issue sleeve, embossed front cover text and fully laminated, top opening, "Printed and made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd" text on rear of sleeve - only 1st press!

Excellent condition, small tear to top opening flap, usual laminate lift and laminate creases around edges, no graffiti.

SPINE

Excellent, still nice and square, unlike most that are virtually flattened! Perfectly legible.

TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES

Excellent, just laminate creases, some corner wear that has been sypmathetically touched in, looks nice.

OPENING EDGES

Good, small repaired tear to opening flap.

Good looking vinyl with a few visible superficial light scratches. Looks and plays quite well. Audio tone is stunning with amazing clarity on all frequencies. Absolutely no distortion from groove wear. The loud sections are excellent, full of power and superb tone. The light scratches do make moderate crackle on run ins and in between tracks, and do make some repetitive clicks in between tracks, but not in the loud music thankfully. The quiet instrumental tracks and 'Solitude' do suffer from persistent crackle and some clicks. Plays through nicely all the way through without any sticks until right at the very end of side 2 when it sticks right at the very end (just before the run out) of 'Into The Void' - otherwise plays as Very Good overall.

LABELS:

The classic Vertigo Swirl labels, with correct 1st press requirements:

Overall swirl on 'A Side' with 'SIDE A' in third white band from the top.

'Reversed/negative' print B side label with white text on black background - the only Vertigo Swirl to be printed this way.

Several light spindle traces, but no graffiti or obvious wear and tear. Nice.

INNER SLEEVE:

Just a plain white one.

POSTAGE AND PACKING:

I recycle as much existing material as possible and reuse record mailers if they are of good enough quality. Edges and corners are reinforced with packing tape. Stiffeners are used to strengthen and support the record.

Vinyl is removed from the outer gatefold to prevent any 'knifing' to the outer sleeve.

I ship in the UK using Royal Mail 1st Class. A certificate of postage is obtained for every item. Signed for delivery is available on request at extra cost. Please ask.
