This record is in very good+ condition. It has very faint spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading. There is minimal wear around the centre holes and these are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape all round.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything really serious with no nasty deep marks but there is some light surface lines, faint sleeve scuffs and one stand out line on side 1. This line cannot be felt but is clearly visible in normal light and goes across all three tracks. Other than this one line there is nothing that appears at all major with just some light lines and faint scuffs. These and the line mentioned can all clearly be seen under very bright light but there is again nothing really sinister. Overall the record has no deep nasty marks, serious scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays well very overall. It lays flat and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent for the majority with no major issues such as skips or sticks and no loud clicks caused by deep marks. Saying this however the scratch mentioned above on side 1 causes some light audible ticks in the last track. There are around 6 to 8 that can be heard in the intro and then around 10-15 in the closing stages or last 15-20 seconds or so. They are not really loud but can be heard in these parts due to the mellow nature of these stages of the track. Other than this issue in track 3 side 1 I noted 3 pops at the very beginning of track 2 on side 2. Other than these the record plays well with only minor traces of light surface noise in parts(intro) and minor interference as a whole.
So overall a very enjoyable listed for the majority but with the few light ticks as mentioned in track 3 side 1 and a few minor pops at the start of track 2 side 2. I think the audio is a very solid EX overall but with the few light and not hugely disruptive ticks a solid VG+.
The embossed 'box' sleeve(that has the 'Sweet Life' error for track 1) is in very good+ condition. It has some rubbing and wear to the edges and corners(pics), with a 2" area to the right edge the worst part. This is not a full blown split but it is worn and is weakening. Other than this area there is just light wear really and the text along the spine or left edge is all clearly legible. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid enough. It has however been flattened at some point and so now the 'box' element to it has been lost to some degree. There is also some mild creasing and slight bubbling to the laminate. So overall not a perfect sleeve but one that is strong and looks tidy with just general wear as often found with this fragile design. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It also has a small faint sticker removal mark on the rear in the top right corner, where I am assuming the later catalogue number(as found on this transitional/withdrawn release) sticker was until it was removed at some point.
It contains its original poly-lined inner which is in very good+ condition. It has no splits, tears or pen marks but minor creasing and age spots/discolouring to it.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
