LABELS: The labels are clean, bright and unmarked with some light spindles on the swirl side but hadly any on the black side - this copy has not been over-played at all
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces still retain their original deep, glossy sheen with no dulling and only a few very light and superficial brush marks - these have little audio consequence - visually EX
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio on this first pressing - very deep and very, very heavy (I had to turn the bass way down on my amp to hear the top registers clearly) - very, very impressive indeed. On playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my records prior to listings and how this great piece of work demands to be heard) there are no scratches, no skips or jumps and no surface noise (the run-ins and track divisions are practically silent) but there some isolated clicks or pops - especially on "Solitude" but personally I did not find these particularly intrusive and apart from these the LP sounds stunning and plays incredibly well throughout with impressively clean audio, sensational clarity and stereo separation, no groove-wear and no distortion and is critically graded EXCELLENT+ (side one) / EXCELLENT (side two) for audio - great copy of this outstanding LP and very, very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: The original box cover is also in great condition - uncrushed with clean, unmarked surfaces which have a deep, deep glossy sheen with very little rubbing and crisp sharp edges with all text on the spine clear and bold. On the H in SABBATH there is a pressing bubble but this is a manufacturing issue (please see close-up photo) otherwise, a superb example of this delicate cover - EXCELLENT+
The original poly-lined Vertigo inner sleeve is also in EXCELLENT+ condition with no marks, no splits and just some light creasing - please see photos (The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit and the box cover will be internally padded to prevent any crushing)
POSTER: The six panel poster printed on on side of matt paper is NEAR MINT - unused/unmounted with no marks or wear
