A FANTASTIC COPY; REAL INVESTMENT QUALITY
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: NEAR MINT; as with all of my records, this has been play graded from start to finish. Both sides played through beautifully with a lovely bright audio. Very occasional light dust clicks that you would find even on brand new records. I never grade used records as Mint, but this sounded absolutely fantastic throughout. 
VINYL VISUAL: EX/EXCELLENT(+); the vinyl retains a beautiful first press sheen. Under bright natural light, I could pick out some very light superficial marks. A bright halogen lamp revealed some light wispy sleeve removal marks and the odd ultra fine hairline, but I am being conservative and there was absolutely nothing that affected the sound quality. Looks really nice.
LABELS: Both MINT; the labels look almost as fresh as the day they left the factory; fantastic
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT; a lovely example. This is the fourth copy of this that I have had and unlike all the others, this copy does not suffer from the usual squashing. The spines are only very slightly angled but are both square and firm. All of the spine text is still clearly legible. 
To the front, there is some laminate 'bubble' towards the left hand side and one tiny bit (1cm) of laminate peel in the top left hand corner. The rear looks almost as new. The top opening flap is completely undamaged.
I honestly think that a much better example would be very difficult to find. 
INNER: NEAR MINT; the inner is the original and is correctly date stamped '0671' (June 1971). The only blemish is some very light age browning towards the bottom, otherwise it could be new; superb.
POSTER: NEAR MINT; the poster has been used, but clearly not for very long because from the front the four pin holes are barely noticeable. Otherwise, it looks fresh out of the box from the front. The rear has some age spots and marks (see photos below).

GRADING

All of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. 

I will never grade a used record as Mint as I do not believe that a second hand record ever truly can be. Therefore, if I grade as Near Mint or Excellent(+) then you can assume that is as near to Mint or Archive quality as I believe it can be. Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted.

Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £25 or more will be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £500.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
