Original UK 1st Press Vinyl LP
RARE 1st press 1970 Black Sabbath Paranoid Gatefold Vinyl LP with Large Swirl and 'Jim Simpson' and Big Bear Credits.
Vertigo ''large swirl'' label - with the wording ''Vertigo'' credited below the spindle hole on label side B.
Matt gatefold sleeve - with the credits mentioning ''Management / Jim Simpson, Big Bear, Birmingham''
Cat# - 6360 011 appears on B-side label, spine and rear of sleeve above VO PRICE CODE.
To distinguish from other releases: P 1970 is written above 33 1/3 on right side on label
There is no break in between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad" - i.e. looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there are actually four.

Matrix / Runout (B-side runout stamped): 6360011 2Y//1Y 420 11 6
Price Code (Rear of sleeve boxed below Cat.No.): VO PRICE CODE
Year of release - 1970 Made in UK
Condition:
Vinyl/Labels : V.Good +
Some faint non feelable, non sounding hairlines, mainly visible under harsh light. No serious playing faults, some non excessive crackle on a few quieter sections only.
Gatefold Sleeve: V. Good
This sleeve, being un-laminated, is very prone to wear and this example has a moderate amount of ring wear to it. No other major issues to mention, all text, colours and graphics are very strong and vibrant. Sleeve looks great.

Important Information:
Postage & Packaging
Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, to prevent seam splits. I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.
:Please note:
Postage prices will be greatly reduced if buying more than one record. In fact, if UK buyers buy three LPs, the postage is the same price as for posting one LP. Postage prices within the UK will be £4.00 when the weight is less than 1kg (usually three vinyl albums) Over 1kg and up to 2kg the postage goes up to £6.00 (Usually six vinyl albums) which is a very good postage deal and should encourage vinyl collectors to check my other items to potentially save a lot of money using combined postage for multiple items.
Please be aware however, I need a steady cash flow to keep my ebay site stocked with goodies, so if there is a big time gap between records that you wish to buy from me, I would appreciate you pay for the first purchase(s) and let me know if you are planning on bidding on more, at a later date. Then I can invoice you with the reduced/combined postage costs, once you have finished bidding.
Overseas buyers can also expect a much reduced rate when combining postage.
Good luck and happy bidding!
Prompt payment is much appreciated. Please pay within 3 days of auction ending.
Postage prices are for Royal Mail 1st Class/International Economy. It is the buyer's responsibility to request additional cover, if they with the item to be tracked/signed for - highly recommended if the value is over £20.00.
