All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if purchased.
This record is in excellent condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but there is not an extreme amount. There are no pen marks, stains, scuffs or fading and there is minimal wear to the centres. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape, with no major issues, just some spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are nice and clean overall with nothing at all nasty or major showing in normal light. There is a few faint wispy lines and very minor signs of use showing however. These are all very slight and there is of course nothing at all nasty or that can be felt. Other than the odd few light wispy lines there is also a light sleeve mark/scuff showing faintly in track 4 of side 1. This is again very minor and overall the record shows no serious marks at all. It has been well looked after over the years, and despite being over 49 years old and having been played, it shows just light signs of age and handling to each side. It is a strong grade of 'EX' visually in my opinion.
I play tested the record and it played nicely throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is next to no arm movement. The audio produced is a solid grade of EX with no distortion, and of course no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. There was no serious levels of surface noise and certainly nothing disruptive but there was the odd light amount. I noted a trace amount in the run ins on each side and a little in some of the much quieter passages of side 1(track 3 for example). Overall it plays nicely with no serious issues at all and no major levels of surface noise. Just a very minor amount in some of the much quieter passages. Most of the audio is clear, punchy and very enjoyable indeed.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has no tears, pen marks or splits but has a small scuff to the front top right corner and also two small scuffs near the centre inside the gatefold(see pics). Other than these scuffs the sleeve is generally tidy with some age related wear but nothing extreme. There is light rubbing along the bottom edges but hardly any along the top edges. The spine is all legible and shows just a few minor areas of wear. The sleeve has hardly any creasing but has slight fading in places, a few minor storage marks/indentations and a hint of a ring mark to the rear. Overall a generally tidy sleeve but one that has light age related wear and the small scuffs as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as honest as I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. It includes its original Vertigo inner which is in very good condition. This has been taped(which has discoloured over the years) along one edge, due to a small split in the centre of this edge. Other than the taping there is also some creasing, mild grubbiness, a small pen mark to the top left corner and a couple of small tears around the central window. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure no further damage occurs to the original during transit and so the record remains clean and ready to play.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
