Black Sabbath are an English rock band, formed in Birmingham in 1968, by guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward.
Black Sabbath is cited as pioneers of heavy metal. The band helped define the genre with releases such as Black Sabbath (1970), Paranoid (1970) and Master of Reality (1971). They were ranked by MTV as the "Greatest Metal Band" of all time, and placed second in VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" list. Rolling Stone magazine ranked them number 85 in their "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". They have sold over 15 million records in the United States and over 70 million records worldwide. Black Sabbath was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
Black Sabbath is the eponymous debut album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Released on 13 February 1970 in the United Kingdom, and later on 1 June 1970 in the United States, the album reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart and has been categorized as the first major album to be credited with the development of the heavy metal genre.

Condition/Grading
Stunning copy of this rare record. Small separation of shrink (2") at lower part of opening and a very minor bit of rub wear on left corner of bottom spine. Neither of which detract any frrom the LP.

Packing
All LP's are properly packaged. Naturally, LP will be removed from sleeve and housed in a generic paper sleeve and packed outside of LP jacket and placed in a protective 3 mil polyvinyl sleeve, unless SEALED. Original paper inner sleeve will be shipped inside of album jacket. LP jacket itself will be placed in a protective Japanese mylar resealable sleeve. All content will be placed in a sturdy cardboard record mailer, with stiff protective fillers and/or bubble wrap. The rest will be in the hands of the Postal Service!
