AND TO TOP THIS OFF ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE HEARD!!!! AWESOME (RAREST EVER) BLACK SABBATH 1st UK PRESS GATEFOLD COVER IN SUPREME BARELY TOUCHED CONDITION!!!! TOP! TOP! AUDIO THROUGHOUT!!! THE ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO STILL THERE .

 Another from my personal collection!!! Purchased from new and has been kept in a case with the vinyl seperated from the cover to prevent ring wear! This is very very sought after original AND IN MY OPINION RAREST EVER UK press! Very rarely seen with the "PORKY and PECKO" etchings in the run-out groove .These were only put on a very limited amount of issues of this pressing!  Please note! I have all of the original UK Black Sabbath albums in my collection and I have played many copies of this album always striving to find the best and top quality available to me over the years! This vinyl is up there with the best that I have ever heard of this pressing! It is rare enough to find this label variation but to find with very near perfect audio will be very hard to surpass and it has got to be a must for any avid Sabbath audiophiles or collectors out there!! 

In June 1972, Black Sabbath reconvened in Los Angeles to begin work on their fourth album at the Record Plant Studios. The recording process was plagued with problems, many due tosubstance abuse issues. In the studio, the band regularly had large speaker boxes full ofcocaine delivered. While struggling to record the song "Cornucopia" after "sitting in the middle of the room, just doing drugs", Bill Ward feared that he was about to be fired from the band. "I hated the song, there were some patterns that were just horrible", Ward said. "I nailed it in the end, but the reaction I got was the cold shoulder from everybody. It was like 'Well, just go home, you're not being of any use right now.' I felt like I'd blown it, I was about to get fired.

 The heavy vinyl with high groovewalls provides a fantastic audio experience with channelling not equalled by the later CD version. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing Rotel amp and B&W three way speakers!!! A beautiful CLASSIC with supreme songcraft, a joy to listen to!!!!

Vinyl: EX/EX+.  I'm very happy to be able to present this gem in this great condition. Only lightly played . The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my rotel amp and B&W speakers.  This really heavy vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went largely unnoticed at the time.  No marks or hairlines and just faint retraction paper traces under a 100 Watt light source, not visible in normal daylight. This vinyl has clearly barely been played as evidenced by the perfect spindle holes which still have some vinyl debris in the spindle hole from the manufacturing process. The labels still retain their beautiful original appearance.

 Sleeve: VG++.  INCREDIBLE! A fantastic looked after gatefold sleeve. Lies completely flat and has no creases. Light storage edge wear. A fully legible spine but some more pronounced wear toward the top 5 cm of the spine. The inside gatefold is excellent, as it was when first purchased. All in all one of the better, above average examples for this vulnerable sleeve.

Retains its original swirl inner sleeve with polyliner fully attached. No splits or tears.
