On offer is a copy of the Black Sabbath album Black Sabbath Vol. 4 (1972). This is a first pressing released on Vertigo Records 6360 071 in gatefold sleeve with stapled-in 4 page booklet. Matrix Nos 1/1 & 2/1.
The sleeve just about rates as very good with slight wear and creasing around the outside edges and at the corners. There are also faint rub marks around the outline of the vinyl to the back of the sleeve, and a few other light marks and general discolouration (just visible in photo). There is a small torn patch in the top right hand corner where a sticker has been removed (also visible in photo). Booklet is in excellent condition.
The vinyl rates as excellent with three or four very light superficial scratches, none of which produce any sound distortion when played. Stylus wear is otherwise light to moderate producing a very light background 'crackle' only audible during the intro.
Prior to dispatch this record will be professionally cleaned using our Loricraft PRC3 cleaning machine to ensure that it arrives in the best possible condition.
