Please note that I always consider realistic offers and, if you look at my feedback, you will see that I often accept a 'best offer' so please feel free to message me.  Also, please read my 'refund guarantee' at the bottom of this section to know that you can purchase with total confidence. For instant sale is a copy of the VERY FIRST UK PRESSING from 1972 of the 'VOL. 4' album by BLACK SABBATH on the VERTIGO label (6360 071).  This very first pressing has :
 Vertigo spiral/swirl labels
Matt gatefold cover with glued-in 4 page insert
 No track timings inside gatefold
No 'Made In England' on label 'E' of 'SIDE B' aligned with the 3 (of the ⅓) above it  Poly-lined Vertigo swirl inner sleeve with MADE IN ENGLAND & British Patent No. 800153 & 973939
Artist/Title on cover spine: BLACK SABBATH - VOL 4
Artist/Title on cover front/back: Black Sabbath - Vol4
Artist/Title on side B label: BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH VOL. 4
A2 appears as "Tomorrow Dream" on cover, but as "Tomorrow's Dream" on label 'Porky' and 'Pecko' in the runout grooves
The sleeve is in overall very good condition for its age but it does have quite a bit of edge and corner wear, a bit of ringwear and a few marks. However, the spine is fully readable. The glued-in insert is in excellent condition.  The labels are also in excellent condition with just some spindle trails. The original spiral inner is in excellent condition and has the correct patent numbers. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.   The record surfaces are in overall very good condition for their age with just a few surface marks from being taken in and out of the sleeve - and no big, deep scratches.  On playback the record mostly sounds great but there is occasional light surface noise ('crackle' and 'pops') - although as soon as the Sabbath sound kicks in you don't really notice the surface noise. However, the first track on side 2 does have a few audible 'clicks' but they don't last for the whole track and there are also a few audible 'clicks' later on Side 2.  Definitely no 'jumping' or 'sticking' although it is not a perfect listen. I have priced the item to reflect the wear on the sleeve and the occasional surface noise on playback.  The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.   If you are not happy with your purchase then, on return of the item, I promise to give a full no-quibble refund including the original postage cost which means you can buy with absolute confidence.
