My records are graded using the Record Collector system as detailed below. Records are not play graded unless stated. The pictures are of the actual item.

Record -  EX+ > Grades high, clean with a great lustre and few signs of play. There is a single short non-sounding surface mark track 1 side 1, no scratches. Under an electric light there are a few fine surface marks indicating this has been carefully played a few times. The labels are superb with no spindle marks as can be seen.  Plays superb with just the usual background noise in the quiet parts, awesome audio at volume, with no faults.

Sleeve - EX+ > Some minor creasing to the unlaminated cover and a small amount of white showing at open edge corners. The booklet insert is fully attached with the staples and is in superb order, very minimal sign of use.

My records are packed in mailers with two stiffeners or in a cardboard box for more than two records. Thanks for looking!

Grading guide

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

NEAR MINT: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, and - are also often added to the grading.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
