Hello everyone. I am selling, by auction, a 10" ACETATE of OZZY OSBOURNE 's " CRAZY TRAIN ". The recording lasts about 4 mins : 45 secs. You will see when looking at the photos that there are, indeed, some scratches on both sides of the disc. Only the last section of one side has the actual recording, the rest is blank. The spoken words at the beginning and the fade out have audible crackle but once Ozzy cuts in you cannot hear apart from 4 or 5 pops at one point. I'm sure you are aware that people would not normally buy an acetate for listening as they were cut for demo purposes for the benefit of the artists and sound engineers, and not meant for repetitive play. Only one copy quite often was cut, at other times no more than two, three or four. Unfortunately, I cannot say which is the case here but in all possibility it could be the one and only acetate of this number. There isn't a printed sleeve as they were not pressed for resale and I will provide a plain one, a poly liner and a good poly outer. The commercial copy had the No. JET 197 A, this disc has that same number scratched on the rim and the No. 11015, or, 011015 or even what could be, but not stamped too well, 1011015. As mentioned, this is not a mint copy but it could, at least be very rare and best, unique. Buyer please play it once and then have it framed to hang above a picture of Ozzy assuming he doesn't clash with the decor. Thank you for your interest. Regards, Brian.
