BLACK VIRGIN – 7” U.S. '83 .44 KILLER – PRIVATE U.S. METAL nwobhm
This is a 7” single by U.S. Metal act BLACK VIRGIN, obtained directly from the band back in the 80's. Features the songs: “.44 Killer” and “Feel The Steel”. BLACK VIRGIN play riff-oriented Metal with a slight NWOBHM backbone (B-side cut). The band has a very unpolished and pure sound, almost like a rehearsal. This is a RARE piece that hardly ever shows up. Record plays @ 33 RPM
Condition of the item:
Sleeve: Front = good; slight crease on right top corner. Back = fair; wrinkles on left side, a little tear in centre and an imprint on bottom left. This is a paper thin fold-over cover.
Record (optical grading): Mint; no visible marks or scratches
Plays: Good, and smoothly without any cracks, jumps or skips on A-side. B-side has a little bit of surface noise and a little pop here and there. Also., towards the end of the B-side cut, music sounds 'wobbly', either this is the actual pressing / grooves or recording as record shows no faults, but sounds like going somewhere in between 33RPM and 45RPM. Please be aware of this before bidding.

GRADING AND PACKAGING:
I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.
I mail all packages by airmail-post, FREE of charge. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
Hi, Paul here... I have been a collector ever since the early 80's, as well as I have been actively involved in the (Underground) Metal scene throughout the 80's and 90's. Now it is time to part ways with most of my collection that holds all formats (demo tapes, vinyl, fanzines, memorabilia), and all genres – from NWOBHM and melodic HardRock to Thrash, Power and DeathMetal, so stay tuned for more obscure items that I will be auctioning. Metal on...!
