In the late 60's-early 70's there were many many groups flirting with occult imagery or content but most notably the trinity of practitioners BLACK SABBATH, COVEN, and presented here BLACK WIDOW. From their stage show featuring live nude "sacrifices" to the incantations and STUNNING ARTWORK OF THIS ALBUM, Black Widow made sure there was no mistaken who they sang their tributes to - OLD SCRATCH HIMSELF.
