Description

Very rare original 1979 Mastering Lab acetate of an AOR album, American Lovers, that was never released on vinyl and was only issued last year on CD by the Japanese label Cool Sound. The artist, Blaise Tosti, is mainly known as a songwriter, having written for Dolly Parton, Rick Springfield and Disney animated films. Players include Jeff Porcaro, Waddy Wachtel and a host of other West Coast studio pros. The sound is lushly produced, mellow AOR with elements of soul and funk. Most of the tracks can be listened to online—just do a quick Google search.  The disc is VG+ with some light surface wear and excellent playback on both sides.
