Description

ART BLAKEY AND THE JAZZ MESSENGERS –
Savoy MG-12171 Microgroove –
VERY RARE!

This 1960 release features the marvelous jazz drummer with his Jazz Messengers, delivering CASINO, THE “BIDDIE GRIDDIES,” POTPOURRI, UGH!, MIRAGE, and REFLECTIONS OF BUHAINIA.

A very rare Savoy microgroove, in a cover that is crisp, like new; heavy platter within should play near mint.

Best copy I have ever seen.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
