BLIND WILLIE JOHNSON 1927-1930 mono lp on RBF 10 US issue 1965 VG/VG+. (New dealer: Please check my About Me page.)

I would grade this LP VG. I will only auction VG condition LPs that are “classic recordings” or just very old, interesting and hard-to-find LPs. These records will have a healthy amount of play and visible scuffs or lines that do affect play. The record still plays through nicely; it’s just an obviously much-appreciated recording. Still way better than no copy at all, and in my opinion, still better than a CD. This lp has had a good amount of play but still retains a lot of it’s shine.  THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY. Most of these came out of libraries which could be dangerous. I'm grading this VG based on a visual assessment. In my opinion the visuals affect the listening experience very little. Comes with a 4 page booklet. This is half of Johnson's recorded output. This has the wrong center face sticker on side 1. It says "the real calypso" which is an lp from this series but not this one. The Tunes: JESUS MAKE UP MY DYING BED; GOD DON'T NEVER CHANGE; TROUBLE SOON BE OVER; LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE ON ME; THE RAIN DON'T FALL ON ME; I KNOW HIS BLOOD CAN MAKE ME WHOLE; I'M GONNA RUN TO THE CITY OF REFUGE; LORD, I JUST CAN'T KEEP FROM CRYING; EVERYBODY OUGHT TO TREAT A STRANGER RIGHT; JESUS IS COMING SOON; KEEP YOUR LAMP TRIMMED AND BURNING; CHURCH I'M FULLY SAVED TODAY; BY AND BY I'M GOIN TO SEE THE KING; CAN'T NOBODY HIDE FROM GOD.

The Jacket: (I don’t rate any jackets with my initials NM) In black magic marker, my initials back upper right, an x back lower right. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with a little flaking front and back but really nice over all.
