Description

BLONDE ON BLONDE Contrasts (Pye) New Zealand 1969.

Here's an Extremely Rare!! Original "New Zealand" PYE 60s Pressing of Contrasts by 'Blonde on Blonde'. Fantastic UK Progressive/Psychedelic Rock. This is the only NZ copy i've ever seen!! ..so it can't of sold many copies there. Overall it looks pretty rough, but the Pressing quality of the Vinyl is deep grooved, so plays a lot better than it looks.

The Cover is VG- (see pics + zoom), typical NZ laminated gatefold sleeve..that's quite flimsy made, so suffers a fair amount of chipping, edgeware, small bit missing top left, as mentioned the Vinyl is only VG, but plays a lot better..about what you'd expect of a VG+ record. Most tracks are quite heavy and play near Excellent, there's a couple mellow tracks on S2 that have moderate crackle, but overall not too bad..no skips on my deck.

Very difficult to find, don't miss!!
