Standouts are “Work Song”; “Checkmate”, “What Now My Love” and “Soul Sauce” – a no-brainer for sampling. Fans of Cal Tjader, The Afro Blues Quintet, Juan Amalbert & his Latin Jazz Quintet, Candido´s Comparsa, Johnny Rae´s Afro Jazz Septet, The Afro-Latin Soultet, Jack Costanzo, etc. will dig this! Nearly-unknown rarity – only reference I can find for it is on “Popsike” (sold for nearly $300 several years ago and I’ve never seen this since on eBay since - or anywhere else for that matter!).
