Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

We have just taken in an amazing PRIVATE COLLECTION of Rock and Pop LPs- Stored from new in astonishing MINT condition, every one we are listing are just the best examples you could see.

The owner played them once, possibly twice (unless we state otherwise) and 'taped' them for listening to, and therefore preserving these LPs in the condition you see here.. They are quite incredible!

All in IMMACULATE play condition.. Stunning original UK issued and we have never seen better!

As you can see.....YES WE HAVE FINALLY FOUND ONE!

We were told about this a while back, and it makes interesting reading - So, this is the original first A1 B1 pressing from mid 1977, pressed on the Green labels (as all were up to this very point in 1977)

Very few BLONDIE 'Debut' LPs were pressed on Green, as the 'blue label' was just in production and Chrysalis switched over literally as this LP was in production, so only the very first few copies were pressed with the 'old' Green labels before VERY quickly switching over to the 'new design' blue labels..as all were from mid 1977 onwards.. Tull/UFO 1977 releases were also pressed on very limited green..

These //1 matrix copies are VERY VERY SOUGHT AFTER!

It has been archived from new until now- an immaculate vinyl!

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is NO dulling - and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

WE SHALL CUT TO THE CHASE!!:

This vinyl is an incredible example, with barely a hint of whisp on the vinyl, no marks, and nothing untoward when we listened to it.

Just some very light spindle skate-

Barely a hint of lead in static, and possibly just the very odd dust pop that probably will not sound next time round

Overall, this is as good as it gets, the whole vinyl SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!

Correct  first UK issued earliest MATT FINISH sleeve  -with the SQUARE SPINE

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.

The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, bar  a couple of tiny spots on the edge , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No powdery white ringwear - NO ring press, and all edges are super crisp.

NO tip rub of any note &  just a couple of tiny spider lines on the edges

The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

We cannot add any more than this! ITS A BEAUTY!
