(1st pressing RARITY hand-screened hand-numbered LIMITED EDITION OF 333 COPIES ONLY)

12" robin's egg light blue with white marble colored vinyl LP with a silk-screened painted-by-hand album cover (see closeup photos) Hand-numbered 1st edition pressing in a LIMITED EDITION of only 333 COPIES.  This is #251/333, hand-written on the cover in reflective light blue ink.
You can see in the last photograph that the covers were actually painted. It's really something special to behold. And, in case you don't know, an amazing powerful album with guest star Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Never played. Never even taken completely out of its sleeve.  In the picture(s) it's held by hand, still in its sleeve. We never remove our/your vinyl and set it on a surface that could hurt it.  As minty as it was the day we got it from the record company.





Eventually, 3 more pressings of I believe 5,063 more copies existed, none of them anything like this. They obviously wanted to make the initial pressing on their new label a doozy.  Or a hoot.  Or a pip.  Or rad.  Or dope. Or fly. Or def. Or artistic. Or art.

 Both vinyl and cover are unused and unowned.  The vinyl is unplayed and MINT and the cover is NM.

The band has been described as post-hardcore, indie rock, screamo, emo, hardcore, mathcore, art punk, and metalcore.

The band is particularly notable for having the unique dueling vocals of Johhny Whitney and Jordan Blilie. They make wide use of post-hardcore vocal styles (such as rapid shifts from singing to high-pitched screaming) and instrumentation (such as abrupt changes in meter and nonstandard chords) The style of guitar playing showcased by Votolato has greatly changed over time, most notably between the heavy, discordant sound of ...Burn, Piano Island, Burn and the minimalist lead lines of Crimes, where the energy of the drums and vocals tends to make up for the lack of thick distortion. Whitney's voice is generally accepted to have evolved from the slurred, venomous drawl on This Adultery Is Ripe to the high-pitched squeals ("like a child being tortured") heard on Crimes, while Billie's voice has grown more distinctive while maintaining the same low, robust ferocity. The band has cited Botch, Drive Like Jehu, Gang of Four, Antioch Arrow, Angel Hair, Highway 61, True North, and Bootsy Collins among others as influences.

Crimes is the fourth studio album by the American post-hardcore band The Blood Brothers released on October 12, 2004. It is their second major label album and their first for V2 (a Virgin Records subsidy). Produced by John Goodmanson, the album was recorded in two months in the band's home town of Seattle and is currently ranked on Metacritic's list of the 200 best-reviewed albums, with a score of 85.

Several members of the band have familial connections to other notable Pacific Northwest-based bands:

• Cody Votolato's older brother Rocky Votolato is a successful solo folk artist and was a member of Waxwing with Cody. His oldest brother is Sonny Votolato, who plays guitar for numerous bands, including Slender Means, Bugs in Amber, and Blue Checkered Record Player.
• Mark Gajadhar's older brother is Rudy Gajadhar, the drummer of Gatsbys American Dream and formerly of Waxwing. Rudy was in Waxwing at the same time as Cody's brother Rocky.
• Jordan Blilie's twin sister Hannah Blilie is the drummer for The Gossip.

See the photo(s).  Sorry about my hand in the shots, (if it is), but I try to NEVER LAY THE VINYL DOWN ON ANYTHING, unlike lots of sellers, who FREAKIN' lay records down on tables and things to photograph them!  We give them all the very clean hand or WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT, as you see in the photos, and take the pics with someone holding the vinyl in the air, never touching it, pulling it carefully from its sleeve.  Whatever we sell you is going to be in the best shape possible. We're all collectors and know that other collectors appreciate the extra mile.  I mean, there may be a smoker in the building, but he doesn't blow it into the records, and we handle them as if they might explode! (Although they won't, postal person, we promise).
